Green Gear

8 years and under (Intro G). The mission of our program is to introduce novice and tyke golfers the opportunity to participate in their first class competitive golf development program. The program teaches the fundamentals of rules, chipping, putting, iron play and driving. Coaches will teach skill development with off course and on course training. Participation in club level leagues will extend the progression. Athletes at this level play our modified length courses. Increase participation, stress fun and skill development.

2ND GEAR

Purple Gear

11 Years and under (Intro G1). The mission of this group is to build on the opportunity to compete within the club level and build their own competitive golf game, technique, and fitness. Progression will eventually be to advance to Gear 3 and 4.. Athletes learn how to practice and play on and off the course. Team building is stressed at this level.

  • Hockey, Soccer and Baseball Teams that can play together during their off season. 

 

3RD GEAR

Blue Gear

The mission of this group is to provide a program focused on commitment, progress and success at local tour events, GAO Bantam Championship and Regional Combine level. This group will be made up of the most dedicated golf athletes from ages 7 to 12. Players will mentor our 1st Gear Athletes when they participate in their junior golf camps. Athletes selected to this group must have great attendance, unmatched work ethic and a positive attitude during all training and coaching sessions. Athletes must be committed to all aspects of the 3rd Gear program.

Black Gear

The mission of this group is to provide a program focused on progress, development and achievement towards local junior golf tours, Bantam Championship and local invitationals. Athletes within this group need to demonstrate further understanding of their golf swings and on-course management. Skills such as driving distance, speed and short game will be worked on through group coaching sessions. Consistent attendance along with a strong commitment is needed in this group. Athletes fall within the ages 13 to 15 and will mentor the 3rd Gear Athletes.

Orange Gear

The mission of this group is to provide an opportunity for our athletes to develop in all aspects of golf including tournament preparation, off-course fitness, winter training and team play. The primary objective is to prepare the athletes tournament schedule for elite spring and summer competition. This group will require a strong commitment to training, teamwork and regular localized competition. Expectations at this level is for full participation in GAO Qualifiers and Regional Events. Athletes in this group are willing to put forth effort to improve daily through team and individual coaching sessions along with commitment to practicing independently.
